Members of the indigenous community staged a whistle rally in Surkhet against the vacancy advertisement published by the Public Service Commission saying that the vacancy was against inclusiveness.  The symbolic protest was led by NEFIN Surkhet District Coordination Committee on Monday.

The rally started from Mangalgadi Chowk turned into corner assembly at Birendra Chowk. Addressing the assembly, Nepali Congress leader and former Health Minister Khadga Bahadur Basyal expressed his anger at the Public Service Commission for publishing the advertisement which according to him was against the constitution and at the Supreme Court for not taking any action.
