Chinese President's Xi's effigy burned in Kapilbastu

Locals youths burned the effigy of Chinese President Xi Jingping during a demonstration in Kapilbastu protesting against alleged encroachment of Nepali land by China. According to statistics, China has encroached 36 hectares of Nepali land in Humla, Sankhuwasabha, Rasuwa, and Sindhupalchowk.
China has encroached 7 hectares of Nepali land in Kharane Khola of Sindhupalchowk and 6 hectares in Bhangdare Khola of Humla.
The local youths shouted slogans like "Go Back China", "Return Nepali Land" at the demonstration.
