Ilam,Balika balatkaar gareko arop ma giraftar. Police have arrested Bhakta Bahadur Dewan, 60, of Namsaling VDC-9 on December 4 on charge of raping a 4-year-old girl. According to the District Police Office, Dewan raped the girl while she was heading towards school on December 1 and told her to keep quit after giving her five rupees. Inspector Kabindar Karki said that the incident became public after the girl told her parents about it. Mother of the girl filed a complaint against Dewan at the District Police Office on December 4. Medical check-up of the victim was conducted in the District hospital Ilam on December 4. He has been charged under rape, Inspector Karki said.
