7 Nepalis abducted from Chennai

BIRGUNJ, 7 Nepali Chennai bata aapaharit. BIRGUNJ: Seven Nepali youths who were going to Kerala of India for employment have gone missing for a week from Chennai (Madras) railway station. Kith and kin of the youths say four unidentified Indian nationals abducted seven among 11 youths from Parsa and Gulmi districts of Nepal. Those gone missing include Rajesh Gurung (23), Narayan Waiba (20), Arun Moktan (18), Anta Kumar Syangbo (30), Bam Bahadur Shrestha (38) from Malibasti, Nirmalbasti-9 of Parsa and one from Gulmi. Akkal Bahadur Moktan, Som Bahadur Moktan, Netra Bahadur Subedi and Purna Bahadur Acharya, however, succeeded to flee from the captivity and informed the relatives about the incident. “They snatched our mobile phones and all money we had and held us captive,” Akkal Bahadur told the reporter over telephone, “We four managed to flee from the captivity with pretence of pee.” The youths had left Nepal on November 25 for Kerala of India with hopes of employment. But while they were waiting for train for Kerala at Chennai station, four Indian nationals came and held in captivity with assurance of jobs. The Malibasti neighbourhood is in panic after hearing of the incident. Whereabouts of the abducted youths is still unknown, according to Mohan Shrestha, brother of Bam Bahadur. Local Ram Bahadur Shrestha informed that they already requested the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu for rescue. रोजगार
