Lalitpur, Senadwara aropko khandan. Nepal Army has called the allegation of its involvement in the irregularities in election as baseless. Issuing a statement on December 5, the, Army’s Directorate of Public Relations said that the NA was unnecessarily being dragged into controversy. The statement asserted that the Army had performed its responsibilities honestly as per the mandate provided by Nepal government. On Decmeer 4, a UCPN-M committee formed to probe the alleged vote rigging in the November 19 election blamed the Election Commission and Army for the irregularities. The statement said the NA played its role in a highly professional and honest way as per the government's directive. R
