Police arrests youth involved in abduction in possession of pistol

Province 1, Udayapur, Belaka
Police on November 24, arrested 19-year-old Manoj Khatri, a resident of Belaka Municipality in Udayapur on the charge of abducting a 16-year-old boy. Police recovered a home-made pistol in possession of Khatri.
According to police, Khatri and Bishal Limbu, also a resident of Belaka Municipality-3 had abducted a 16-year-old boy on Sunday and had taken him to the jungle. Police rescued the boy on Sunday night.
According to Area Police Office Rampur, Limbu ran away after locals and police reached the place where they had kept the abducted boy hostage. Police, however, arrested Khatri.
Police are further investigating the incident.
