NCP cadre attack Tarun Dal cadre

20-year-old Krishna Basnet, a cadre of Tarun Dal from Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-11 Hasnapur , filed a complaint of physical assault against a 22-year-old cadre of Nepal Communist Party(NCP) Binayak Khadka of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-10 on November 27 at Area Police Office Tulsipur.
Binayak hit Krishna with a beer bottle from behind while he was returning from the mass gathering addressed by Congress Chairperson Sher Bahadur Deuba. Binayak was not pleased with Krishna attending the gathering organized by Nepali Congress.
As per the police, injured Basnet was rushed to Nepalgunj for further treatment after receiving initial treatment at Rapti Regional Hospital, Tulsipur, police said.
Nepali Congress Dang's secretary Shankar Dangi said that the complaint was registered on November 27 after the police refused to file the complaint the previous day. Accused Khadka is on run.
