A 15-year-old girl has accused six persons, including three policemen of gang-raping her repeatedly in various places on December 3 and 4. According to the victim, she was raped in Nepal Bharat lodge, Himalaya lodge in Malangawa and Sonbarsha in India. Police have arrested police constables Sanjit Karki, Raj Kumar Phunyal and Arbind Mahato of District Police Office (DPO) Malangawa on December 5 on charge of being involved in the incident. Bus driver Rishi, his assistant Binod Yadav and conductor Shambhu are absconding after the incident. Staffs of Sristi night bus operating in Kathmandu-Malangawa route had brought the girl, who had arrived for an eye check-up at Tilganga Hospital, to Malangawa on December 2. The bus conductor had raped her in a lodge in Malangawa and absconded leaving her there. She was gang raped by other five persons in different locations on December 3 and 4. The victim is kept under the protection of Women Peace Centre of the Women and Children Office (WCO). Binita Karki of the Centre informed that condition of the girl is normal. WCO has filed a complaint against the six persons at the DPO on December 6. The DPO said that investigation has been initiated after filing a rape case against the three policemen.
