The journalists picketed Dasarth Stadium in protest of attack against Suman Chapagain, the journalist of Nagarik Daily. They said they would boycott the 13th South Asian Games(SAG) citing repeated misdemeanor against the journalists.  Many fans of Nepali football had gone outside the stadium this morning looking for tickets after they were already sold out. Hence, police baton-charged order to disperse the crowd one of whom was a journalist. 

Nepal Sports Journalist Federation and Nepal Sports Journalist Forum, through a memorandum, protested the attack against the journalists.
