HETAUDA: Police have successfully rescued a man eight hours after he was kidnapped and arrested five kidnappers. Police rescued Naresh Thapa Magar, 21, of Ramechhap from Heatuda-9 on Wednesday morning. According to police, a gang of three people had kidnapped Magar and kept him hostage in a house in Hetuda-9, Lamsure.
District Police Office paraded the kidnappers amidst a press conference today. The arrested are Ashish Sijapati, 24, of Kailali, Sunita Dhami, 29, of Kanchanpur, Krishna Gurung and Ashik Lama of Dhading district. Likewise, Saraswati Tamang, 36, of Heatuda-9 who is the owner of the house where Magar was kept was also arrested, police said.
