20-year-old kills a 72-year old, gets arrested

Police arrested 20-year-old Santosh Gharti of Chandrakot Rural Municipality-8 on the charge of involvement in the murder of 72-year-old Devi Ram Bhandari of ward number 7 of the same municipality. Bhandari was found dead in the shed on December 21, said DSP Min Bahadur Ghale. Gharti hit Bhandari with a stone amidst an interpersonal conflict, the police said. Police are investigating the incident by extending the remand, further added Ghale.
