The inebriated police duo assaulted two staffs of No Light Department of Nepal Electricity Office(NEA), Jorpati. The ASI of Armed Police Force(APF) Pravin Rai and Constable Chabindra Rai beat the staffs, Surya Bahadur Khatri and Subash Khadka, when they were returning after fixing the electricity unit in Laxmi Narayan Chowk of Mulpani. Khatri has his thumb broken while Khadka has sustained injuries in his mouth. Both of them are being treated at Orthopedic Hospital.  The vehicle rode by the NEA staff had hit the policemen and the policemen had hit the staff in response to the accident. 

The incident is being investigated after arresting the attackers, said DSP Ramesh Bahadur Singh. The duo policemen work in Home Ministry.
