A woman was found murdered in Barahchhetra Municipality-1 of Sunsari on  Tuesday afternoon. Locals of the area found a woman's beheaded body on the bank of Saptakoshi river. They then informed the police about it.

According to DSP Binod Sharma, police recovered a lady's bag, clothes, stamp pad, and a knife along with the body. Police have not been to identify the body yet.

Police suspect, the woman who appears to be in mid-thirties, could have been killed over a financial dispute. Police are further investigating the incident.
