Police have arrested 50-year-old Sunita aka Kanchi Tamang of Chapagaun, Lalitpur on the charge of trafficking a 15-year-old girl to India.

She was arrested by the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau from Budhanilakantha Municipality, Deuba Chowk on Wednesday afternoon.

During the investigation, it was revealed that she had sold the victim to a brothel in Madhun of India for Indian Currency ten thousand.

SP Govinda Thapaliya, said that the brothel operator had been injecting needle and drug to the victim making her hostage in the room for a month.
