An unidentified group detonated an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) on a Ncell tower in Lalbandi Municipality-16 last night, according to SP Bishwomani Pokhrel of District Police Office Sarlahi.

SP Pokhrel informed that the IED detonation caused only minor damage to the tower. Communication service over Ncell around the area was affected due to the damage to the tower.

Police suspect Netra Bikram Chand-led group is behind the attack on the tower. A police team led by SP Pokhrel and SP Damodar Dhodari of APF had reached the site of the incident after being reported about the incident. 

Police are further investigating the incident.
