Area Police Office Lahan has arrested Ram Dhyani Yadav, 30, of Lahan Municipality-1 on December 31 on charge of attempting to rape a 25-year-old woman of Beltar, Udaypur. The victim, who works in Astha Pathshala in Lahan, had filed a complaint against Yadav on December 31. DSP Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal of the APO Lahan said that investigation had begun after extending remand of the accused.
