An agitating group of people has vandalized and set fire on the office of Tikapur Daily of the District on January 1 accusing it of publishing false news regarding an accident. Bishnu Saud and Janak Kuwar of Tikapur Muncipality had died in the accident on the highway of Ganeshpur Chauraha of Baliya VDC-5 on December 31. The people attacked the office for wrongly publishing that the postmortem of the deceased duo was conducted when actually it was not. The agitated group vandalized the office and destroyed the important documents, the Daily’s editor, Bhwaneshor Adhikari said. He added that the physical properties worth over Rs 80,000 were destroyed by the group. Bhesh Raj Shrestha, SI of Area Police Office, Tikapur said that the search for the people involved in the incident and investigation was underway. I
