Chitwan District Court has sentenced Ramraj Khanal, 25, of Gaindakhola, Jutpani VDC-3 to 11 years in prison on January 5 on charge of raping a 13-year-old girl. Single bench of Judge Binod Mohan Acharya made the decision. Khanal was arrested by the police on May 27. He had raped the girl at her home on May 18 threatening her of killing her all family members if she revealed the incident to anyone, the girl said. She added that Khanal had been raping her with similar threats but kept silence.
