Kathmandu,Nagrik dainikka sampadaklaai akraman prayas. An unidentified group has attempted to attack Chief Editor of the Nagarik Daily Pratik Pradhan on January 7. It has been reported that the private car (Ba5Pa 2959) of Pradhan came under attack at Bhimsengola Marga while he was returning home from office in the evening. The group attacked him with sword and lathi. The car which Pradhan was driving himself was attacked from the front but when the glass did not break the group attacked the rear glass. Metropolitan Police Circle (MPC) Baneshwore said that Pradhan is safe. ASI Shrawan Kumar Yadav informed that Pradhan registered a complaint at the MPC demanding action against the assailants. He said that though a police team was deployed at the site, no one was arrested till around 10 pm.
