Police and Nepal Students Union clash in PN Campus

Sujan Lamichhane, a student was injured in the skirmish between Nepal Police and cadres of Nepal Students Union in Prithivinarayan (PN) Campus on Tuesday. Injured Lmichhane is being treated at Manipal Hospital.

Last Thursday, there was a fight between NSU and ANNISU students on campus. Virat Dawadi and Vishal Pant were injured in the clash. 

The injured were taken into police custody on Monday by NSU leader Rajesh Hamal after they filed a complaint against the NSU cadre.

Police have also issued an arrest warrant against other cadres Satish Bastola, Gaurab NIraula, Bipin Nepali, Sworop Banjade, Saurav Chapagain, Suji HItanmagar, Yubraj Poudel, Akal Chetri of Nepal Students Union.

Nepal Student Union, Kaski has also protested by burning tires at various places in Pokhara on Tuesday. The Nevisangha had protested against the tires at Trivi Chowk, Mahendra Bridge, Nalamukh, and other places. 

The student leader Shiva Baral informed that there is a program of not allowing government vehicles to run from Wednesday and closing educational institutions from Thursday demanding unconditional release of the cadres.
