Husband of Bishnu Maya Waiba, 38, of Dandagaun VDC-8 has filed a complaint at the District Police Office Kavre on January 9 accusing Roshan Syangtan of same place, Tritha Man Vlon, Sangeen Lopchan and Kajiman Gole of Saldhara Nagpani of beating her on witchcraft allegation. Dorje Waiba, husband of the victim demanded strict action against them saying that they thrashed Bishnu Maya on December 10, 2013 accusing her of bewitching Bhuisyal Syangtan. Injured victim received treatment at a local health post. Dorje said that he was compelled to seek the DPO's help after police post in Taldhunga did not take his complaint seriously. Women and Children Service Centre of the DPO said that the police post has been asked to arrest the accused.
