A person has been killed while trying to intervene in a clash between two groups in Dhanusha on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Sonelal Pulami of Sabaila Municipality-12 Raghunathpur.
Pulami sustained serious injury on his head when one of the groups involved in a dispute attacked him with a bamboo stick on his head when he tried to intervene the clash between the two groups. He died on the way while being taken to Janakpur provincial hospital for treatment, informed his son Suryanarayan Pulami.
Dispute between two groups started when a group of youths started using vulgar language and another group objected to it.
Police have arrested 5 persons in connection with Pulami's death.
The arrested have been identified as Kapil sada, Dharmadev Raut, Jitendra Raut, and Ashesh Yadav of Sabaila Municipality-1 and Manu Yadav of Sabaila Municipality-4.
Police are further investigating the incident.
