Saptari,Balatkaarka aropit sikshaklaai 10 varsh kaid. Anil Kumar Mandal, 25, of Chhinnamasta VDC-2 has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on January 12 for raping a 12-year-old girl. District Court’s Single bench of Chandra Bahadur Saru also directed Mandal to pay Rs 100,000 to the girl as compensation. He was in Rajbiraj Prison since August 6, 2012. A teacher at Chhinnamasta VDC-2, he had raped the girl, whom he tutored, after sending other students off on April 14, 2012 and was arrested after the victim filed a complaint on May 10, 2012. Her medical check up was conducted at Unique Hospital and Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj. M
