Clash over Burial Ground Leaves Four Injured

A clash ensued between the Hindu and Christian followers of Thulosirobari VDC over burial of one Ek Bahadur Sarki at Women Community Forest on November 18. The clash has left locals injured.

The Hindu community of the area demanded that the body of a Christian Ek Bahadur buried at the community forest in ward no. 4 should be removed and taken to another place while the Christian community refused to remove the body from there.

Policemen from Sagachok post reached the site after the clash over burial ground turned nasty. In-charge of the police post Damai Ghale said that the dispute would be resolved after making an agreement between the political parties.
