Khotang, patni laai kutpit gareko aropma pati giraftaar. Police have arrested Grahan Rai, 32, of Buipa VDC-1 on January 12 on charge of physically abusing her wife, Pipala Rai, 31. He was arrested as he had been bashing Pipala in the past and inflicting serious head injuries to her on January 9, District Police Office Inspector Durgaraj Regmi said. Regmi added Rai was arrested after the victim’s side filed an appeal on January 12 asking for police action against the perpetrator. A mother f two sons and a daughter, she is undergoing treatment at District Police Office. Regmi added that the husband was in custody as per the request by the victim and that both sides will hold a dialogue once she recuperates. D
