A 23-year-old victim Devi Kumal has lodged a complaint against her husband Ganesh Kumal, 26, at Women and Child Service Center under District Police Office, on January 12 accusing him of beating and expelling her from the house. The victim further said that her husband has been beating her in an inebriated state on a daily basis, depriving her of food and clothes. Since then she has been living at her parental home. She lodged a complaint at District Police Office pledging for justice. SI Shanta Pandit of Women and Children Service Centre said that the Ward Police Office of Narayangarh has been asked to present the accused at District Police office.
