A 20-year-old Binju Biswakarma of Sawakatahare VDC-7 has lodged a complaint against her bigamous husband Jeevan Biswakarma, 21, at District Police Office, Khotang on January 11, pleading for justice. The victim said that she lodged a complaint after her husband took a second woman leaving herself and her 4-year-old daughter despite their marriage 6 years ago. The victim further said that she has been living with her parents in her parental home after being tortured by her in-laws following the birth her daughter. The accused married a second woman Ambika Baraili, 22, of Terhathum District on December 30. Durga Raj Regmi, Inspector of District Police Office, Diktel said that the accused will be persecuted as per the law. The accused are at large, according to him.
