Man arrested for murder attempt of senior citizen

Police, on March 14, arrested 20-year-old Mukesh Mandal of Rajbiraj Municipality-8 for murder attempt of 67-year-old Satya Narayan Shah of the same place by slitting the throat. As per the victim, Mukesh tried to kill him on the night of March 12 when he was caught stealing items from Shah's home. The victim has been undergoing medical treatment at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital since March 13.
