Police arrested 20-year-old Mahadev Pun of Sunwala Municipality-3 on the charge of killing a man by stabbing him with a knife.

According to the District Police Office, West Nawalparasi, Mahadev Pun, of Sunwala-3, Kritipur, attacked his friend, 23-year-old Samyojak Gurung and 24-year-old Jagdish Gurung of Pokhara Municipality-3 of Kaski.

Jagdish, who was seriously injured in the knife attack, died while undergoing treatment on Wednesday.

According to Birendra Thapa, DSP at the District Police Office, Nawalparasi, three days before there was a dispute over a phone call between them.
