8 persons were injured during a violent dispute between two groups in Tanahu on Friday. The dispute arose between the locals of Masphat (Kumal Gau Tol) and Madhyamasphat (Kusume Tol) in Byas Municipality-9 over a game of football during the lockdown period. According to DSP Lilaraj Lamichhane of District Police Office Tanahu, 65-year-old Buddhi Bahadur Kumal and 7 others were injured after being beaten by locals of Kusume Tol. Police have arrested 3 persons from Kusume Tol on the charge of assault.
