Nirmala Devi Air, 27, of Jhalari VDC-5 has filed a complaint against her husband Ram Bahadur Air, 32, and co-wife Rewati Devi Air at Women and Children Service Centre, District Police Office accusing them of physical assault. Nirmala Devi has suffered from chest and head injuries in what she says were due to their assault on January 15. She added that her husband had hit her with a piece of brick. She is currently undergoing treatment at Mahakali Zonal Hospital. The police said out of two accused, Rewati Devi was in contact while the husband was absconding.
