Sonnu Kori, 28, of Khajurakhurda4 has been killed by her husband Padu Kori alias Jagadish Kori, 32, on February 9, police said.

DSP Uday Tamang of the district police office Banke said that Jagadish killed his wife while she was sleeping at her house. He further said that Jagadish had absconded after the incident.

SI Naresh Dhakal of the police post Khajurakhurdra said that there was a cut mark on the left hand of the deceased. <
