UML village committee member Raju Pariyar of Sundar bazaar was beaten by Tarun Dal cadres on February 10. Accusing ANNFSU of keeping news students at Sunsarbazaar Agriculture Campus in its camp, Tarun Dal cadres including Uttam Gurung attacked him.

Pariyar sustained injury to his hand and body. Meanwhile, Nepal Utpidit Jatiya Mukti Samaj issued a press statement demanding action against 15 Tarun Dal cadres.

Tarun Dal has not commented on the incident.
