Taplejung,agyat samuhko goli praharbata ek jana ghaite. Tej Bahadur Karki, 52, of Khejenim VDC-5 has been injured when shot by an unidentified group on January 29. The injured has been rushed to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar on January 20 for further treatment. Dr. Surya Bahadur Gurung of the district hospital informed that he was referred to Biratnagar as his treatment was not possible in the district. According to Dr. Gurung, Karki sustained a bullet in his left knee and injuries in various parts of his body. Inspector Krishna Dev Chaudhary said that a group of about five men opened firing at him while he was at his home. Chaudhary said that the assailants have been identified and search for them is underway. Karki is a farmer.
