A complaint has been lodged against Jagadish Nepali, 28, of Tarbughat VDC-5 living in Chabahil of Kathmandu Municipality-7 on charge of beating his wife. The victim Shanti Ghising, 35, lodged a complaint against her husband at women and children service center under metropolitan police range Kalimati on January 27 accusing him of beating her regularly in an inebriated state. The victim demanded action against him as per the domestic violence act. The couple was married 6-year ago as per social tradition. Inspector Sushila Pradhan said that the accused would be arrested.
