On Thursday afternoon, retired inspector Harin Yadav beat Raghav Kumar Yadav, Senior Meter-reader of the Sales Department of Nepal Electricity Authority Siraha Distribution Centre. According to victim Yadav, Harin Yadav beat him up when he refused to sign files lacking evidence. Yadav said that Harin verbally abused and punched him in the nose and head showing a police card.

In order to cover up the incident, Inspector Dipendra Shrestha verbally abused and pressured the victim to reconcile, said Raghav.
