Sunsari, balika balatkaarka aaropit purvapakshka laagi thunama. The District Court has sent Shiva Nandan Kamait, 50, of Majhaura VDC-8 to prison for investigation regarding rape of a minor girl. According to district government attorney Dr. Gopi Chandra Bhattarai, Judge Binod Kumar Pokharel ordered to remand him in prison on February 3 on charge of raping a 10-year-old girl on January 4, 2014. Family of the girl had filed a complaint at the District Police Office on January 5, 2014 accusing him of raping the girl while she was herding goats in a field. Inspector Gyan Kumar Mahato of the DPO said that medical check-up of the girl was conducted in the District Hospital Sirahal on January 5.
