Solukhumbu, agyat samuhko goli praharbata hotel vyavasayiko mrityu. Gyanljen Sherpa, 45, of Chaurikharka VDC-5 has been shot dead by an unidentified group on February 2. Sherpa, the owner of Star Hotel in Phakding, Chaurikharka was shot in his own hotel by a group of three masked men around 8 pm, DSP Badri Bikram Thapa informed. His body was found on the counter near the dining room of the hotel, DSP Thapa said added three bullet covers were also recovered from the site. Sherpa has been shot in head and chest. Police is sending additional force from the District Police Office and that mobilization of police at possible points of escape, Thapa said.
