Victim of Trafficking Rescued from India | भारतमा बेचिएकी एक महिलाको उद्धार |

Kapilvastu,bharatma bechiyekki ek mahilako uddhar. A 27-year-old woman of Jhapa has been rescued from a hotel in Delhi, India with help from Indian police. The woman has been brought to Nepal on February 5. The victim was sold to the hotel in Delhi 13 months ago. She was taken to India by her neighbor with the promise of job. However, she was forced to have sex with guests. A joint effort of India Police, Nepal Embassy and Nepali Prabasi Mitra Manch, among others with initiation from Shanti Punarshtapana Griha Krishnanagar resulted in her rescue. The woman, who was kept in Nari Niketan in Delhi after rescue, was handed over to Ambika Aryal, representative of Nepali Prabasi Mitra Manch by the Nepali Embassy following court order on February 4 after which she was handed over to Shanti Punarsthapani Griha (SPG) in Nepal in the presence of District Administration Office on February 5. According to Bhumiraj Bhattarai of SPG, 11 women have been rescued from India this year. He said that the victims would be handed over to their parents and efforts would be taken to take action against those involved in such incident.
