The vice-president of FNJ Kalikot, Deula Singh Thakuri, of Uttarganga8 has been injured in attack on February 11.

Thakuri was attacked with stone and iron rod by Hari BC and his father Naule BC when he protested the pollution their mill was spewing. He has sustained deep wounds in head and forehead and has bruises all over his body. He is undergoing treatment at Regional Hospital , Surkhet.

Thakuri filed a complaint against the duo at the District Police Office on February 12. SP Govinda Ram Pariyar said that the police were searching for the accused. <
