Kali Sherpa, 35 and her daughter Mingkipa Sherpa, 8, and daughter of brother Ongmu Sherpa, 4, of Pathibhara VDC-1 were hacked to death by khukuri. Locals had found the dead bodies of the deceased locked inside their house after their cattle cried out of hunger since they were not fed for days. The incident came to fore only on February 6. A team led by Inspector Yamnath Adhikari of the District Police Office reached the site and initiated investigation. The group and motive behind the incident is yet to be known, Adhikari said. Mother of four daughters, Kali had send her two daughter to Morang for studies and another in her maternal home in Khandbari. According to police, the assailant took away the deceased earrings. Her husband is in Malaysia working as migrant labor since two years.
