The District Court, on February 11, has sent Heera Bahadur Shrestha alias Maila, 52, of Sangachok VDC-4 to custody for investigation regarding the rape attempt of a 29-year-old girl. Shrestha was accused of trying to rape the woman at Sangachok VDC-4 on January 26 while she was returning home from her maternal home. Eyewitness said that they retaliated after seeing the incident. The victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office on January 29. Police arrested him the same day.
