The relative of Saraswati Prasai Gautam, 26, of Mechinagar Municipality-5, Jhapa has held a press conference in Itahari on February 15 claiming she was murdered. Paternal uncle of the deceased, Khemraj Shiwakoti of Sonapur VDC-1 claimed that his niece was murdered as her body was found hanging in her room which was locked from outside on February 3. The police had broken the padlock to retrieve the body.
