Federation of Nepali Journalists protested for 1 hour at the Clock Tower of Birgunj, after the police misbehaved with them when they had gone to the District Police Office (DPO) for the release of Tiwari Yadav of Birjung Community Radio.
The protest was planned on 10 May after the Parsa Police afflicted them. They have also decided to boycott the news related to Parsa Police.
Yadav was arrested from the entrance of Radio Narayani FM and released after five hours. His cell phone is still with the police. Federation of Nepali Journalists of Parsa has decided to protest until action is taken against the misbehaving police.
