46-year-old Dilip Thakur of Gaushala Municipality-4 was found dead in a maize field on Sunday evening. He had sustained deep injuries on the left side of the face.
According to Area Police Inspector Prakash Regmi of Gaushala, the murder did not appear to have been planned. According to Regmi, Thakur may have been killed by beating with a wooden plank.

Police arrested 25-year-old Arun Kumar Sah of Gaushala Municipality-5 on Wednesday on the charge of murder of his neighbor 46-year-old Dilip Thakur of Gaushala Municipality-4. Sah reportedly murdered Thakur by hitting him with a bamboo stick at a maize field during a dispute between them.
