40-year-old Babita Purve and her 18-year-old son Rahul Purve of Janakpur Sub-metropolitan City-8 sustained injury after being beaten by their neighbors Sharma Bhandari, Ram Niwas Bhandari, and Ram Chandra Bhandari over a dispute about road on May 18.
According to Babita, she lodged a complaint against the perpetrators at Mujeliya Police Station based on which police arrested one perpetrator Ram Niwas Bhandari and released him a day after without informing the victims.
After the Mujelia Police station released the perpetrators, the victim Babita Purve's husband lodged a complaint at the District Police Office but the police forced for mediation denying the registration.
