Four young women sold in India have been rescued in Mumbai by Maiti Nepal on February 2.
Maiti Nepal district coordinator Prabha Khanal said the women hailed from Sindhupalchok, Rupandehi, Sindhuli and Chitwan respectively.
Khanal informed that the women with the last names as Tamang, Khanal and BK and aged between 19 and 25, forced into flesh trade, were brought to Nepal with the help of Maiti Nepal Mumbai.
Maiti Nepal said the women were being provided psychological counseling and after that a process of legal action would be initiated.
