Five people were murdered at a cow farm in Tilottama Municipality-10 in Rupandehi district on Monday night.
According to local police, the five employees at the cow farm at Mainahawa in Kanchhi Bazaar were brutally killed when they were sleeping inside the cow farm. The incident came to the public only on Tuesday morning.
District Police Office, Rupandehi, said they are yet to gather details about the incident. It is still not clear who was behind the killings of the workers of the cow farm.
An employee, who was found unconscious at the scene has been sent to a local hospital for treatment, while another employee, who was found hiding near the incident site, has been taken under control by police for investigation.
Those killed include a female and four males including a 14-year-old boy. Police have launched an investigation into the case.
