An angry group of a mob has set fire on New Barsa Suppliers of Rajapur Municipality-6, Tapara, Bardiya after not receiving compensation for the death of their family member in an accident with a vehicle belonging to the company.
According to the DSP Min Bahadur Ghale of Area Police Office, Rajapur the property worth NRS. 8.6 million was destroyed in arson. Somnath Tharu (38) of Rajapur Municipality-6, Mahadeuli died in an accident when a delivery van of the company and a motorcycle he was riding collided on May 12. District court released the delivery van driver Himal Gautam on a bail of rupees one lakh and twenty thousand.
