Locals of ward 1 in Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan city staged a demonstration against Mayor Lal Kishor in front of Sub-Metropolitan City's Office on Wednesday stating that the Mayor had ignored their demands to construct road in the ward for months. They have accused him of working for only those close to him. 

The locals along with the chairperson ward 1 staged a sit-in in front of the Sub-Metropolitan City's Office.  The ward Chairperson Sah alleged that the mayor has been allocating the budget in the city without considering the rules and regulations.
